It's raining!

It has already been a good spring and early summer in terms of rain - and it is just getting better as I write.  I would guess we've had a inch of rain in the last 30 minutes.  Here is a photo taken out towards the south west - although the rain is coming down from the north rather than from this direction.

Our pastures are appreciating the regular rain and look as good as they have since we started to try and improve them.  That is not to say that we can't do a whole lot better once I can manage the grazing more closely - and do the paddock harrowing - and make and spread the compost.

Not long now - 1st April this year we will be returning from Jakarta permanently.
